Sharknado 6’s Plot Has Been Revealed And It Involves Nazis, Dinosaurs, And Noah’s Ark

The totally absurd Sharknado franchise returns for its sixth entry this summer. Now, the movie’s plot description has been revealed–and it’s completely crazy. Main character Fin (Ian Ziering) can now travel through time through, and he must do so to save his family. Along the way, Fin will take on all manner of people and creatures, from Nazis to dinosaurs. Oh, and Noah’s Ark will play some role in the movie, apparently.

Here is the full description, published by Bloody-Disgusting: “All is lost, or is it? Fin unlocks the time-traveling power of the SHARKNADOS in order to save the world and resurrect his family. In his quest, Fin fights Nazis, dinosaurs, knights, and even takes a ride on Noah’s Ark. This time, it’s not how to stop the sharknados, it’s when.”

The Sharknado series, which was created by TV network Syfy and airs there instead of theatres, premiered in 2013. Other returning actors for Sharknado 6 include Tara Reid and Cassie Scerbo, while we’re expecting many guest stars to feature as well. Sharknado 6, or whatever absurd title Syfy decides to eventually give it, premieres on July 25.

What looks like the first poster for Sharknado 6 has also been revealed, and you can see it in the Twitter embed above. We’re expecting something much more absurd to follow in the lead-up to the movie’s release this summer.

New Sharknado movies have followed every year since the first one came out in 2013. These include Sharknado 2: The Second One (2014), Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No! (2015), Sharknado 4: The 4th Awakens (2016), and Sharknado 5: Global Swarming (2017).

There have been Sharknado video games over the years, but there is no word as of yet if a new one is coming to tie into Sharknado 6.
