WWE’s PPV Hell in a Cell may be over, but plenty of people are seeing red at the end of the show, probably because of the cell color this year. Eight matches took place at the AT&T Center in Dallas, Texas for the September 16 event, and all the results are listed below, including the Kickoff Show.
Multiple championships were on the line, but surprisingly, neither the Intercontinental nor United States Championships were defended at this show.
However, there were still six title matches on the card, including Roman Reigns taking on Braun Strowman in a Hell in a Cell match for the Universal Championship, in which Mick Foley was the special guest referee. Additionally, Samoa Joe fought AJ Styles for the WWE Championship all while trying to become the new dad in the Styles’ household. That’s been one really weird storyline.
